Initial success with small birds

The device mounted in a garden began identifying dozens of tiny, colorful birds within a few weeks. Alerts sent to a phone named visitors such as Great Tits and Eurasian Blue Tits. The user recorded these interactions in 4K HDR video while reading migration habits in the app.

Large pigeon blocks the view

The experience changed when an alert identified a Common Wood Pigeon arriving at the feeder. This large bird appeared as a gray blob that obscured the live camera feed completely. The animal was described as fat and imposing enough to block the lens entirely.

Alarm fails to deter intruder

The user triggered the Nuisance Animal Alarm feature typically reserved for squirrels to address the situation. The audible siren played but did not stop the pigeon from continuing to eat seeds. The bird remained at the feeder despite the noise that surely annoyed nearby neighbors.
