YouTube was the leading mobile application among Pakistani children with 31.2 percent usage share. Instagram followed at 18.8 percent, while WhatsApp accounted for 17.4 percent of activity. Facebook represented 10.8 percent and TikTok ranked fifth with 5.7 percent.

Risks in multiplayer gaming

Multiplayer games appeared among the top ten most visited online resources for young users. Titles such as Roblox are accessed on both smartphones and computers by children. These platforms allow direct communication with other players, including strangers the children have never met.

Experts identified artificial intelligence as a source of new cybersecurity dangers for young users. Malicious actors can use deception and manipulation across various digital platforms. These interactions may put families at risk according to the analysis.
