Honor launches Magic 9 Pro Max flagship phone in China today
Honor has launched its new Magic 9 Pro Max flagship smartphone in China today with a partnership involving professional camera maker Arri.
Camera design and technology details
The device features a new camera island inspired by the 1937 Arriflex 35 model. This rear system includes two 200-megapixel lenses and a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The setup supports Arri LogC3 color profiles and offers access to various preset looks.
Video recording capabilities
A directional microphone is included to assist with video recording quality. The phone can capture square-format selfies in either landscape or portrait orientation. Users may select from fourteen preset looks or eighty-seven third-party options within the Arri library.
Hardware specifications and chip
The handset runs on a proprietary Honor Imaging Chip H1 alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. A large battery is also part of the new flagship package. This launch marks Honor's first major release since announcing its collaboration with Arri.
