Google launches Dreambeans AI story app in India with local language support
Google has expanded its experimental Dreambeans application to India, offering personalized visual stories in thirteen languages.

App availability and language options
The company made the tool available on Android and iOS devices this Monday. Users can access content generated from their Google Calendar, Gmail, Photos, Search, and YouTube data. The service supports English alongside twelve regional languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali.
Video animation feature update
Recent updates allow the app to animate select images using its Veo video-generation model. Previously, the software only displayed static illustrations created by artificial intelligence. This change expands the storytelling capabilities without requiring users to enter a prompt.
Reasons for market selection
Product manager Gozde Oznur stated that strong user interest drove the decision to launch abroad first in India. The country shows high overlap among users of Gemini, Gmail, and Google Photos. Nearly 55,000 downloads occurred in the United States since the June debut.
