Getac unveils new rugged notebooks with advanced AI chips for defense and industrial users
Taiwanese manufacturer Getac has announced two new rugged notebook models featuring Intel Panther Lake processors and Nvidia options, targeting military and defense sectors with a November 2026 release date.

New hardware specifications and features
The B360X and B360X Pro are fully rugged 14-inch notebooks equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips. These devices include 14-inch screens with 1,400-nit brightness and support for Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The headline AI compute rating of 180 TOPS applies specifically to the B360X model with a Core Ultra X7 processor.
Target markets and industry focus
Getac describes the B360X Pro as purpose-built for defense and military professionals, listing defense as its only industry. The standard B360X is instead pitched toward public safety teams, utility workers, and industrial manufacturing environments. This distinction separates the two models based on their intended professional applications.
Pricing and availability timeline
Both models are scheduled to arrive in November 2026 according to the company announcement. No pricing information has been announced for either device at this time. The B360X Pro offers an integrated AI rating of about 98 TOPS without the high-end Nvidia option.
