Commercial operations start early

The facility synchronized with the electrical grid about a week prior to the official sales date. This initial block represents the first third of a planned 100-megawatt installation. The entire site holds potential to generate up to four gigawatts in the future.

Construction timeline achieved quickly

Developers moved from groundbreaking to commercial operations in just 23 months at this location. Company leadership stated that no other team has built a project like this anywhere globally. Future blocks aim for completion in as little as 18 months as the process refines.

Major buyers commit power

Several large organizations have agreed to purchase electricity from this specific project site. Google and Southern California Edison are among the entities committed to buying the generated power. Data center operators view this speed as appealing for their energy needs.
