Funding round details and investors

The company secured Series E and F rounds totaling $1.65 billion led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Nvidia, Sound Ventures, and T. Rowe Price also participated in the latest investment. This capital injection follows an earlier round where Sequoia took the lead role.

Revenue growth and market context

Fal reported annualized revenue exceeding $800 million before the start of this year. The firm hosts and runs models for video, image, and audio generation tasks. Other inference providers face thin margins due to high compute costs.

Leadership team and founding history

Burkay Gur and Gorkem Yurtseven established the business in 2021 with backgrounds at Oracle and Amazon. Gur previously led machine learning efforts at Coinbase before co-founding this venture.
