Deezer adds toggle to filter out AI music by year end
Deezer announced a new feature allowing users to remove AI-generated tracks from their streaming feeds before the end of 2026.

New filtering option arrives soon
The music service will introduce an on/off switch for this content within its mobile application. CEO Alexis Lanternier stated that users have shown clear demand for this ability to focus on human creators. The feature is scheduled to launch by the end of the year.
User preference drives the change
Deezer conducted a study suggesting nearly half of all music streaming users want AI tracks removed from their feeds. NPR also reported that listeners are increasingly unhappy with platforms flooded with artificial content. The company noted that around 18 percent of tracks on the app were AI-generated last year.
