Community compiles leaked Portal prequel F-Stop into playable game
A community project has merged leaked data to create a playable version of Valve's canceled Portal prequel, F-Stop.

Leaked assets form playable build
The compilation follows a massive August leak totaling more than 12 TB of Steam data. This initial dump included assets for F-Stop alongside early versions of Left 4 Dead and Portal 2. Later, source code and map data leaked to the Valve Cut Content Discord server were combined with those earlier files.
Game features camera mechanics
Playthroughs show the game is largely stable but still missing textures and dialogue. The build demonstrates a camera mechanic that stores physical objects by taking pictures of them. Users can modify or relocate these captured objects within the game environment.
No official release expected
Valve has shown no indication of an official release for this canceled prequel. The leaked compilation currently represents the closest thing to a release available to the public.
