Long-term strategy for handheld console

Sean Cleaver, head of communications for Blaze Entertainment, stated that the company intends to remain active in the project for at least six more years. The team has prepared a specific roadmap covering the next three to four years to guide future releases and partnerships.

Potential partners include industry giants

Blaze Entertainment confirmed it has spoken with EA, Sega, and Bandai Namco regarding potential collaborations on new projects. The company also expressed a desire to resume work with Rare on ports for Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie.

Collaboration depends on publisher policies

Cleaver noted that finalizing deals relies heavily on the internal policies of each interested company rather than just initial interest. While dialogue with Capcom continues for built-in titles, cartridge-based projects require specific readiness from the partner.
