BioWare documentary Massive Effect covers studio history before closure
A documentary titled Massive Effect: The BioWare Story will release next year to document the final years of the Alberta-based game developer before Electronic Arts shut it down.
Filming began two years prior
Production crews started recording footage two years before Electronic Arts closed the studio last month. The project was commissioned by Canada's Super Channel to capture the studio's final act.
Founders and directors appear
The film will feature appearances from founders Ray Muzyka, Greg Zeschuk, and Augustine Yip. Directors Casey Hudson and voice actor Jennifer Hale are also set to make an appearance in the documentary.
