Live Rewind captures recent audio

Users can double-press the Digital Crown to view a text snippet of the last 15 seconds of detected audio. This function allows wearers to catch missed details in conversations or airport announcements without needing to ask for a summary first. The feature displays the transcript directly on the watch face for immediate review.

Siri Recap summarizes discussions

The system generates high-level summaries of conversations including a title and key points within the Siri app. Apple Intelligence creates these records after a conversation ends to help users jog their memory later. Participants can ask Siri questions about the saved text or save it for future access in the app.

Privacy measures accompany rollout

Apple released a privacy overview document explaining how it plans to protect user data during this always-listening development phase. The company stated these features are opt-in and designed to respect the privacy of people around the wearer. Sound recognition tools for alarms and sirens operate alongside the conversation recording capabilities in this beta update.
