Apple to launch HomeView smart home hub on Tuesday
Apple will announce a new Siri-powered smart home hub called the HomeView on Tuesday.

Device features and models
The new device includes a display and an A18 chip to control other smart home gadgets. Reports indicate it will be offered in two versions, one for countertops and another for wall mounting.
Additional product updates
Apple plans to unveil updated versions of the Apple TV set-top box and the HomePod mini at the same event. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg also noted a partnership with LG for smart locks, thermostats, and doorbells.
Strategic importance
This launch represents Apple's most significant attempt to succeed in the smart home market after previous efforts struggled. The company aims to improve traction following limited success with its HomeKit framework and HomePod speaker.
