New model features and size

The newest tiny tablet arrives with a screen that is slightly bigger than the previous version. This 8.5-inch display distinguishes it from other models in the range which have screens of 11 inches or larger.

Comparison across the product line

The standard iPad model uses an A16 chip and lacks Apple Intelligence built-in at this time. The iPad Air offers an M4 processor with options for both 11-inch and 13-inch screens. The most powerful option remains the iPad Pro which features an M5 chip in its latest generation.

Storage and accessory support

The standard and mini models top out at 512GB storage capacity while the Air supports up to 1TB. The new Air version also includes support for the Apple Pencil Pro accessory.
