Partners co-develop the hardware lineup

The company partnered with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric to create a suite of products for the Apple Home platform. These devices are the first smart home gadgets Apple has co-developed rather than relying solely on third-party manufacturers. The collection includes security cameras, a video doorbell, a smart lock, and thermostats designed to work seamlessly with the new HomeView display.

Devices feature simple clean designs

All products share a minimalist aesthetic available in black, silver, or white finishes. The lineup consists of indoor and outdoor cameras, a video doorbell, a smart lock, and two versions of thermostats. Each gadget sets up through the Home app without requiring an extra application or account.

Launch includes other new products

The announcement coincided with the release of the Apple TV 4K and the HomePod Mini 2. The event showcased a wider push into the smart home space led by the AI-powered HomeView smart display. Reports indicate the collection aims to provide reliable, private, and easy-to-use options for homeowners.
