Apple CEO says iPhone Duo supply timeline remains unpredictable due to memory costs
Apple CEO John Ternus told Reuters during an interview that the company cannot predict when iPhone Duo supply constraints will end.

Supply and demand balance uncertain
Ternus stated in a Reuters interview that Apple is working hard to reach customers quickly. He noted that current conditions prevent the company from forecasting when supply and demand will equalize. Some shipments are expected to arrive as late as 2027.
Memory pricing hits record highs
The executive described memory pricing as unprecedented during Apple's Q4 2026 earnings call on Monday. He added that costs are expected to rise further in the December quarter. These higher costs have already led to price increases across the product lineup.
Cracked screen returns remain low
Ternus addressed reports of cracked screens by saying a very small percentage of devices were returned for this issue. Apple is currently replacing the affected units. The company also made limited models available in-store at launch.
