New titles join existing library

The company released over a dozen notable apps optimized for the device alongside this announcement. These new additions include Microsoft Word, Outlook, Zoom, and sports applications from the NBA and NHL. Other available tools include shopping platforms like Etsy and productivity software such as Goodnotes.

Developers receive support in workshops

Apple stated that over 2,000 app developers attended more than 50 in-person workshops hosted across 19 cities worldwide. During these sessions, creators used the device to work on their applications with direct support from Apple staff.

Device popularity exceeds expectations

Reports indicate the foldable phone has proven more popular than perhaps Apple had planned given its high price point. The starting cost for the 256GB model is $1,999.
