Anduril and Qualcomm partner to launch BlueChip laptops in 2027
Anduril and Qualcomm announced a partnership Tuesday to develop the BlueChip laptop line, with preorders scheduled for 2027.

Initial product specifications and target users
The first generation of BlueChip will be a hardened laptop designed for military, government, and law enforcement use. Approximately 90 percent of the components for this initial model are made in the United States or allied countries. The device runs on a Snapdragon X Series CPU built at a facility in Arizona.
Manufacturing location and supply chain goals
Assembly for the early units is planned to take place at Anduril's Arsenal-1 facility in Ohio. Palmer Luckey stated that the long-term intent is to produce every component entirely within the United States. The companies have not yet finished contracting with all necessary suppliers to reach that 100 percent domestic goal.
Technical architecture and processor details
Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon confirmed that the laptop uses the same architecture found in other devices like the Microsoft Surface. The partnership aims to reduce reliance on global supply chains that typically involve China and Taiwan. Both executives discussed motivations including keeping money domestic and creating jobs during a virtual press event.
