Expansion of AI rendering tech

Huynh stated that the machine learning-based FSR 4 technology will move from external graphics cards to the entire product line. This expansion includes APUs, gaming laptops, and handheld devices according to comments made to The Elec. The company previously limited promises for this technology to desktop graphics cards only.

Uncertainty about specific hardware

It remains unclear if the update will apply to existing handhelds or require new chips. Reports suggest a new APU and a lightweight FSR 4 model are arriving this year. The specific requirements for older devices have not been confirmed by AMD yet.
