AMC Theatres sells double sandworm popcorn buckets for Dune Part Three
AMC Theatres is selling two themed popcorn buckets featuring a double sandworm design for the release of Dune: Part Three on December 17, 2026.
New bucket designs arrive
The theater chain offers the Sandworm Thumper and Double Sandworm options for customers. Both items feature a worm-shaped hand hole for holding popcorn. The Double Sandworm version includes two holes to allow two people to reach in simultaneously.
Design solves access issues
Adding a second opening addresses the problem of only one person being able to grab popcorn at a time. This change also highlights the sexual innuendo many observers noted in the original bucket's single orifice. The product serves as a collectible item for fans of the film series.
