Amazon expands Prime settlement payouts to eligible US customers
The Federal Trade Commission approved a new round of payments for Amazon Prime members in the United States starting this week.

Settlement scope increases significantly
A court order has expanded the settlement to cover millions more people. The maximum individual compensation amount has risen from previous limits to $200 per person. Payments for the initial group of affected customers began in November 2025.
Qualification requirements remain strict
Residents must have joined Prime through specific pages challenged in the lawsuit. Eligible enrollment methods include the universal decision page and the single checkout flow. Unsuccessful cancellation attempts also qualify a subscriber for this refund package.
Some claims need no form
Certain eligible customers may receive refunds without filling out an application form. The program targets those who feel misled by sign-up practices or struggle to cancel memberships.
