Amazon Bee launches new Frontier wearable and Eclipse phone clip device
Amazon acquired startup Bee to launch two new personal AI devices on Thursday.
New wearable and phone clip options
The company introduced the Bee Frontier, which can be worn on a wrist or pinned to clothing. A second device called the Bee Eclipse attaches magnetically to the back of a smartphone. The Frontier costs $74.99 while the Eclipse is priced at $99.99.
Subscription features and integrations
Both gadgets use artificial intelligence to summarize conversations and create actionable to-do lists for users. An optional Pro subscription provides unlimited conversation summaries and recaps for a monthly fee. Users can also connect the devices with services like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Apple HealthKit.
Competitive pricing and availability
These new products compete directly with other AI note-taking gadgets like the Plaud Note at a lower price point. The Frontier comes in Onyx, Lavender, and Sage colors while the Eclipse offers Silver, Midnight, Honey, and Blush options.
