8BitDo Arcade Controller Pro pre-orders open with November shipping
8BitDo has opened pre-orders for its new Arcade Controller Pro fighting game controller, which will begin shipping on November 30.
Pricing and availability details
The device is available for pre-order at a starting price of $119.99. This model costs more than the previous Arcade Controller, which starts at $89.99. Shipping is scheduled to commence in late November.
Hardware improvements and features
The controller includes a 1.47-inch display for input monitoring and custom button mapping. It also features a magnetically attached wrist rest and five extra button caps stored inside. The battery capacity has increased to 3,000mAh and can be fully recharged in four hours.
Design changes for fighters
8BitDo designed the unit with smaller buttons and tighter spacing between them. These adjustments aim to appeal more specifically to the fighting game community. The company released this second leverless controller after revealing its first venture into the market earlier this year.
