Two hundred fifty guests dressed as Dolly Parton attended Manhattan Halloween party
On Friday evening, 250 people dressed as Dolly Parton gathered for The Frankie Shop and Unemployed's fourth annual Halloween bash in the East Village.

Venue atmosphere matched theme
The event took place in a basement club beneath Ella Funt. Guests wore platinum-blonde bouffants and exaggerated bust lines while dancing on a sunken black-and-white checkered floor. The room featured wood paneling and hot-pink walls that created a soft rosy glow throughout the space.
Previous themes included icons
Earlier editions of this collaborative party asked guests to dress as Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Diana, or Uma Thurman. Co-founders Cecile Winkler and Sophie Tabet noted that seeing everyone interpret the theme in different ways is the main fun. The venue offered ample space for such a large group of costumed attendees.
