Target hosts design pop-up event at New Museum during fashion week
Target opened an immersive two-day pop-up called Target by Design at the New Museum in New York City last week.

Archival installation and product showcase
The experience began with a trip through the retailer's archives. A kinetic installation displayed memorable products from collaborations with Jean Paul Gaultier and Michael Graves. Guests also viewed the iconic red shopping bag on display.
Custom tote designs by artists
Target handed its classic tote to a group of creative leaders for new designs. The lineup included work from Public School, Daniel Arsham, and Chloë Sevigny. Visitors could customize their own bags at a nearby station.
Inspirations from local creatives
Design ideas came from KBB by Kahlana Barfield Brown and Laila Gohar. The customization area allowed guests to create personal items using these inspirations. The event celebrated everyday design alongside high fashion.
