Richmond Preserve Opens New Valmont Spa Location
The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort in Richmond opened its fourth spa location featuring Valmont Skincare treatments on a weekend.
Spa Features And Amenities
The new Hilltop Spa sits within the resort grounds that cover 3,500 acres of rolling hills. Guests can access steam rooms, saunas, and private whirlpools in both locker rooms. A coed hydrotherapy area includes two whirlpools and a cold plunge for visitors. The facility also offers a private after-dark experience complete with champagne service.
Treatments And Techniques
Visitors receive the Preserve Custom massage followed by a customized Hydration of the Bisses facial. This plumping treatment lasts between 60 and 90 minutes to target the lymphatic system. Every Valmont treatment includes its own Butterfly Motion, a proprietary massage technique for guests. Viviana Garrido serves as Valmont's U.S. sales director and describes the immediate glow effects.
Wellness Programs And Staff
Resort manager Clinton Cox notes that activities allow guests to reconnect through movement and mindfulness. Members can access yoga, Pilates, sound bathing sessions, along with individualized fitness programs at the sporting club. Cox developed the bespoke Tree House Experience for couples or small groups during warmer months. This two-hour journey combines therapeutic body treatments with a specially curated culinary menu.
