Public School presents SS27 Living Proof collection at NYFW
Designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow presented the Public School SS27 'LIVING PROOF' collection on Thursday, September 10, at Gotham Hall in Manhattan during New York Fashion Week.

Collection themes and materials
The Spring/Summer 2027 lineup combines natural fabrics with technical textiles to create an urban camouflage palette. Designers utilized navy, black, grey, and stone colors alongside wools, cotton, cupro, viscose, and cashmere cotton. Structured shoulders and cross-body straps define the garments built for city readiness.
Runway show details
This presentation marks the label's second runway appearance since returning to the schedule after a seven-year absence. The show evolved from the previous season's homecoming theme into a dialogue focused on modularity. Waterproof galoshes and peel-away layers were featured as key elements of the collection.
Location and timing
The event took place at Gotham Hall within Midtown Manhattan on Thursday, September 10. This gathering followed the Fall/Winter 2026 show titled Everything is Now which served as a homecoming.
