eBay recorded a 360 percent increase in global searches for Prada skirts within days of the show. On September 22, The RealReal reported a 78 percent jump in search activity for the same term. A company spokesperson confirmed that September 22 and 23 were the two largest demand days for Prada skirts so far this year.
Retailers note high demand
Tiffany Hsu, head of women's buying at MyTheresa, stated that the current period is definitely a skirt season. Retailers are observing significant customer interest following the runway presentation. Early data indicates the collection is already influencing how women want to dress.
