Pokémon Unite servers shut down in March 2027
The Pokémon Company announced that the free-to-play multiplayer game Pokémon Unite will end service on March 23, 2027.

Service ends after six years
The title launched on Nintendo Switch in July 2021 before expanding to mobile devices. Cross-platform play was supported between these systems during the game's nearly six-year run. Gem sales and new Unite Club memberships stopped immediately upon the announcement.
Final farewell event planned
A final update scheduled for November 12 will add a special farewell event to the game. This update introduces a Library feature allowing players to view select in-game items locally after servers go offline. Existing members can keep their perks until their membership expires naturally.
Tournament status remains unchanged
The Pokémon World Championships will not include the title, but a separate tournament in Tokyo is still scheduled. Qualifier tournaments for that event are set to start in December. The independent tournament proceeds despite the main game's closure.
