Paris Women’s Fashion Week opens with 67 shows despite economic concerns
Paris Women's Fashion Week began Monday in Paris with a schedule of 67 planned catwalk shows for the Spring-Summer 2027 season.

The event features a debut presentation from South African label MaXhosa Africa alongside new collections from Canadian designers Matieres Fecales. Industry giants Christian Dior and Saint Laurent are scheduled to present their models on Tuesday. Dozens of other brands will display their designs during private viewings and events throughout the French capital.
Designer departures at luxury labels
Anthony Vaccarello is reportedly leaving Saint Laurent after a decade leading the brand, though his exit has not been officially confirmed. At Balenciaga, parent company Kering is reportedly reviewing Italian designer Pierpaolo Piccioli following concerns over sales levels. Similarly, Chloe artistic director Chemena Kamali faces pressure due to a lack of profitability since taking the job in 2023.
