Hairstylist Clayton Hawkins revealed how he styled Olivia Colman's natural curls for a recent appearance while promoting her upcoming film Wicker.
Styling the natural texture
Hawkins prepped the hair with Amika Frizz-Me-Not Treatment before diffusing it with an AirLight Pro Hair Dryer. He then used a half-inch curling iron to wrap sections in random directions for a wild look. The process included adding volume at the roots with powder and finishing with Dove 10-in-1 Serum.
Addressing the hair length change
The stylist joked about how Colman grew her shoulder-length hair after being seen with a pixie cut in May. Hawkins suggested the look could be a wig, extensions, or simply magical growth rather than natural regrowth. He described the actress as hilarious and a joy to work with during the shoot.
