Festival atmosphere draws crowds

The event took place at Theresienwiese over a recent weekend. Visitors found amusement rides and games alongside stalls selling various items. A large smorgasbord of hearty Bavarian food was available for attendees to enjoy.

Beer remains main attraction

Thousands of varieties of beer were on display for the many drinkers present. The annual festival first began in October 1810 to celebrate a royal wedding. Beer enthusiasts gather there despite the fact that some individuals do not like the drink.

Personal drinking habits noted

One attendee preferred light beer and drank fizzy water throughout each day. He hoped nobody would notice his choice of beverages while he was there. This approach allowed him to stay comfortable without feeling bloated after a single glass.
