Collection inspired by non-existent travel

Popova stated she did not have the chance to visit any physical locations for this season. The designer described the line as a fantasy of escape created from imagined remnants instead of real materials.

Textiles mimic environmental elements

Specific garments featured errant sand creating new textiles and saltwater restructuring silhouettes within the designs. One piece captured the silhouette of someone taking a photograph while another mimicked marks left by wet swimsuits.

Construction techniques focus on stitching

The Ukrainian designer hoped to push herself more on construction during this project. A shiny bomber jacket had its front, back, and sleeve formed from a single component determined through dense lines of stitching.
