New store location details

The establishment will be situated within the former French Concession area of the city. Founder Grant Ashton states that the club currently maintains a collection of 6,000 wine labels.

Shift in consumer habits

Ashton notes that younger generations are moving away from high-alcohol spirits toward lower alcohol options like wine. Data indicates that alcohol use among adults aged 18 to 29 fell by more than five percent between 2022 and 2024.

Market strategy focus

The business aims to provide a middle ground between spirits and non-alcoholic beverages for its customers. This approach targets drinkers who seek quality products rather than increasing overall consumption volumes.
