Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky publicly announced on Friday that they have welcomed their first child.

The pair reportedly took a break from their professional duties this summer to care for the newborn. Gaga had just finished her Mayhem Ball Tour in April before releasing her concert film and album in May. Polansky continued his work at Outer Biosciences while they were away.
Professional ties between partners
Gaga serves on the board of Polansky's biotech startup, which develops new compounds through human-tissue research. One of the companies that works with Outer Biosciences is Gaga's own beauty brand, Haus Labs. Polansky is also credited as an executive producer on her Mayhem concert film.
