KidSuper designer Colm Dillane becomes Brooklyn’s first Arts Ambassador
KidSuper designer Colm Dillane was appointed the borough's first Arts Ambassador to support local creatives at a fashion show in Brooklyn on Saturday night.

Designer Colm Dillane asked Borough President Antonio Reynoso to help young designers access government funding. Reynoso agreed and named Dillane as the borough's inaugural Arts Ambassador. The event took place on the steps of Brooklyn Borough Hall.
Fashion show highlights local talent
The People's Runway project now features five designers chosen from a pool of over 300 applicants. Reynoso told the crowd that the event is not like golf or tennis but requires audience support. The show aims to benefit designers who struggle with current grant systems.
