Katie Ko blends ballet history with Hong Kong food memories in new fashion line

Her 2025 spring/summer line titled Chrysanthemum Dew pays homage to her hometown through references to Vitasoy chrysanthemum tea. The designer uses unconventional materials like bamboo strips and preserved flowers alongside traditional taffeta ruffles.

Pieces in the range feature feather-adorned layers that explode from silk bodices while others resemble porcelain elegance. Ko states her work blurs the line between fashion and fine art using wearable narratives.
