Jenny Packham launches Disco Couture ready-to-wear collection for spring 2027
Designer Jenny Packham has released her Spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection featuring disco-inspired movement and bias cuts.
Collection focuses on dance floor movement
The designer stated that movement has always been fundamental to her work. The new line features pleats that open and close around the body while fringe shivers during motion. Previous resort collections introduced icy screen sirens and slinkier bias cuts before this spring push.
Silhouettes include metallic gowns and mini dresses
A metallic pleated gown offered fan-like volume alongside a champagne slip with embellished neckline. The 20-look collection also included sharper spaghetti-strapped mini-dresses and jumpsuits in black, midnight blue, blush and silver. Signature crystals, sequins and beading appeared throughout the range.
Designers cite iconic disco-era actresses
Spring designs drew inspiration from Lauren Hutton, Lynda Carter, Debbie Harry and Farrah Fawcett. Resort 2027 began the story with Michelle Pfeiffer, Sharon Stone and Ellen Barkin in mind. The collection moves from cinematic entrances to relaxed room dancing.
