Issy Wood opens self-portrait exhibition at London National Portrait Gallery
British-American artist Issy Wood has opened a solo exhibition of twelve self-portraits at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Exhibition launches new artist program
The show marks the first event for the Gallery's new Artist Focus program. This platform is dedicated to talents pushing portraiture into new territories. The exhibition runs through February 2027.
Most works make public debut
Seven of the twelve pieces in the collection are making their public debut. Wood began creating this series in 2020 to supply visuals when a magazine threatened to send a photographer to her studio.
