ISEA2026 Dubai launches hybrid art and science festival with citywide venues
The 31st edition of ISEA2026 Dubai opens for ten days with a hybrid format featuring exhibitions, talks, and courses across the city.

Artistic programme spans multiple locations
Over 1,000 art submissions were received before curators selected shortlisted interactive installations for display. Activations will occur at more than 20 venues including The Foundry and the ARTE Museum. Site-specific digital installations are scheduled for locations such as the Al Wasl Dome.
Workshops blend traditional skills with code
A series of workshops will demonstrate how to create calligraphy, letter art, and typography using digital tools. Discussions with local artists will explore how traditional forms evolve in real-world scenarios. One specific session focuses on the process of translating calligraphy directly into code.
Academic talks focus on human networks
The academic arm includes panel talks and presentations designed to bring humans closer to surrounding networks. Courses will explore the intersection of art and science through various presentations. The event structure combines a citywide artistic programme with an online academic component.
