Guardian Sudoku puzzle requires players to fill a nine by nine grid with numbers

Readers can find the daily number placement challenge in the latest edition of The Guardian newspaper.

Grid completion rules apply

Participants must place digits one through nine into each row without repetition. Every column and every three by three box must also contain the full set of numbers. Buying the next issue reveals the finished solution for Monday through Thursday puzzles.

Solutions appear in later editions

Answers for Friday and Saturday challenges are provided in either Saturday or Monday papers. The publication schedule ensures that solutions do not appear before the designated day. This structure allows subscribers to attempt the task before checking the answer key.
