Disney+ and Hulu greenlight Glee reboot produced by 20th Television
Disney+ and Hulu have officially ordered a revival of the musical series Glee on Wednesday.

Production team confirmed for new series
The new show will be produced by 20th Television, which also handled the original run. Ryan Murphy has completed a script alongside co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. Sources indicate that deals for the creative team are still being finalized.
Original cast members under consideration
Murphy stated he has contacted around ten original cast members regarding their potential return. Reports suggest several familiar faces may line up to reprise their roles at McKinley High. No official casting announcements or premiere dates have been released by the studio.
Series history and streaming platform details
The original series aired on Fox from 2009 until 2015 after six seasons. It followed a show choir group dealing with high school life in Lima, Ohio. The reboot will air exclusively on the Disney+ and Hulu streaming services.
