BTS member RM curates Korean art exhibition at SFMOMA
BTS rapper Kim Namjoon opens his first museum show titled Between You and Me at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

Exhibition scope and collection details
The showcase features nearly 200 works in total. One hundred forty-five pieces come from RM's personal collection while forty-five are drawn from the museum's own holdings. The display includes paintings, photographs, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, and calligraphy.
Curatorial team and timeline
RM co-curated the event with SFMOMA staff members América Castillo and Hyoeun Kim over a two-year period. The exhibition runs until February 7, 2027. This presentation marks the first time RM's collection appears in a museum setting.
Thematic structure of the show
The gallery is divided into eight distinct sections including Blue Water and Friendscape. Some items make their stateside debut for the first time. The curation highlights notable figures within Korean modern and contemporary art.
