British Museum Bayeux Tapestry Merchandise Sells Out in Hours
The British Museum launched an online shop selling replicas of the Bayeux Tapestry this July after the original exhibition sold out.

Virtual Queue Frenzy for Tickets
Eighty thousand people joined a virtual queue to purchase tickets for the exhibition. The show generated over $3.4 million in sales on its first day. Visitors included King Charles and members of the Macron family.
Online Gift Shop Launch
The museum opened an online gift shop offering merchandise related to the historic embroidery. This move followed the immediate sell-out of physical exhibition tickets earlier in July. The original 70-meter stretch of 11th-century embroidery remains housed in Normandy during renovations.
