Design concept and material sourcing
The designer explained that major life changes required putting pieces back together. He utilized fabrics already stored in the archive to create new garments without waste. When yardage was insufficient for multiple pieces, the material became accessories or finishing details.
Specific prints and dyeing process
The collection revived baroque prints from 2022 and striped cottons from spring 2025. Garment-dyed items were processed at a small facility outside Milan that operates with just six washing machines. Many pieces were designed to allow layering and unexpected color combinations.
