Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated left elbow during Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas.

The incident happened when Daniels took the snap on third-and-goal from the one-yard line. His feet appeared to be stepped on by left guard Chris Paul as he fell. Daniels tried to brace himself with his left hand before his elbow bent backward.
Medical staff examine the player
Medical personnel surrounded the quarterback while coaches and teammates gathered nearby. Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota was the first person to approach the injured player. Daniels sat up with a towel over his head before being carted off the field.
Fracture ruled out initially
Coach Dan Quinn stated that X-rays showed no fracture in the elbow. The team plans to conduct more imaging tests on Monday. Quinn anticipates Daniels will return for the remainder of this season.
