Journey details and route conditions

Bottas began the trip on Sunday immediately after his race in Sepang. He covered off-road and gravel trails while riding at night for four days. The driver finished the journey on Wednesday to arrive in Singapore.

Encounters with wildlife and obstacles

The cyclist reported seeing snakes, including a cobra and a python, crossing his path. He also encountered large lizards that required him to jump over them while moving. Additionally, he was chased by a dog and stuck behind a group of cows.

Motivation for the cycling challenge

Bottas chose this route instead of flying after receiving a suggestion from his girlfriend. She is an Australian Olympic cyclist named Tiffany Cromwell who proposed the idea. The driver completed the ride under his own steam rather than using transport.
