Travis Head scores century as Australia beat Zimbabwe in Harare ODI

Australia set high target

Australia reached 356 for six in their fifty overs after Travis Head struck 112. Cooper Connolly and captain Mitchell Marsh both made half-centuries while Oliver Peake added 41 runs. Zimbabwe posted 272 in reply with Sikandar Raza top scoring with 45.

Series victory confirmed

The visitors secured an eight-run win to take a two-nil lead in the series. Head was dismissed for four runs in the first match before hitting his century here. Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza led the hosts with 45 runs as they chased the target.

Player of match award

Travis Head received the player-of-the-match award for his aggressive innings in Harare. He hit three sixes and fifteen fours off eighty-four deliveries during the knock. The Australian opener took seventy-five balls to reach his century against Zimbabwe.
