Seeman suspended after video evidence

Line judge Jeff Seeman received a two-game suspension following footage of him cursing at Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride. The incident occurred after McBride complained about interference by a Giants defender on an incomplete pass during the loss to New York. Seeman appeared to yell a profanity at the player while officials reviewed the play.

Hill faces one-game penalty

Referee Adrian Hill was suspended for one game after pushing Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson during their victory over Miami. NFL vice president Ramon George announced both punishments to address instances of unprofessional behavior toward athletes. The league expects officials to maintain standards comparable to those held for players.

Union leader demands accountability

NFL Players Association executive director JC Tretter stated that such actions are unacceptable and called for equal scrutiny of officials. He noted that players face consistent consequences when their roles are reversed in similar situations. Coach Mike LaFleur expressed disappointment but acknowledged the difficulty of the situation for the involved official.
