Andreeva wins first semi-final match
The French Open champion overcame Ekaterina Alexandrova in a tiebreak during Thursday's quarter-final. She then faced Bartunkova on Saturday to secure her place in the final.
Bartunkova loses second semi-final match
The 20-year-old Czech player made twenty unforced errors while losing the contest in seventy-four minutes. Andreeva sent down twenty-seven winners to win the match without much difficulty.
Final opponent remains undecided
Andreeva will play either Zheng Qinwen or Elise Mertens for the title. She is currently the highest-seeded player remaining in the tournament.
